Compared to most of the cars of the era the Lamborghini Countach looked (and still looks) like a spaceship. It could have easily been used as Centuari's car in The Last Starfighter.

I'll be 59 this year and I still watch it. Every actor and actress is fantastic in this movie. But that's only my opinion. Have you counted how many times the COUNTACH has shifted it's gears? I think I counted 5. I might be off by one. I also have a 1/18 scale diecast model of it on order.
